Simplified Exit Device for Doors with Exterior Lever (UL Listed)

Panic Exit Device Specifications:

The panic exit device is UL Listed #SA32524 and UL #SA25621 for fire-rated applications. It is constructed with an extruded anodized aluminum push bar and stainless steel springs.

The latch mechanism features a top pullman-type latch and a bottom bolt assembly. The door height standard is 7 feet, and the backset is 2 3/4 inches on a minimum 4 1/2-inch stile width. If the stile width is less than 4 1/2 inches, the backset becomes half of the exposed stile width.

The strike for the top latch is surface-mounted, while the bottom strike can be a flat mortise or installed into the threshold, depending on the vertical/rim application. For double-door applications, a DBLST double-door strike is used.

The projection of the device ranges from 2 1/2 inches to 1 7/8 inches when dogged. The minimum stile width requirement is 4 1/2 inches, and the standard door thickness is 1 3/4 inches. The door width can be field-sized from 36 inches down to 30 inches.

The recommended installation height for the push rail center line is 41 inches from the finished floor. The device is furnished with sheet metal and machine screws for mounting.

The panic exit device accepts rim cylinders and all Schlage "C" keyway trims. It features a 1/2-turn hex key for dogging operation. The available finishes include Aluminum, Duronotic, and Stainless Steel.

The actual size of the product is 31 inches and can fit doors ranging from 30 inches to 36 inches wide, with the ability to be cut to size as needed.
